Global party institution HYTE has reached new heights in 2016, powering into their second season at Ibiza’s world famous Amnesia and establishing new events in New York, Croatia, Italy and Beirut, and another series of sell out events at ADE. It seems appropriate that to close out this mighty year HYTE returns to the techno capital of the world, and arguably the most exciting city for any free-spirited partygoer at New Year's, Berlin. Taking over the ultimate underground playground, Berlin’s Arena, HYTE gathers a who’s who of techno royalty for this colossal occasion. The former bus depot turned war-time weapons arsenal now provides a labyrinth of indoor and outdoor industrial spaces with numerous dancefloors throughout, as well as panoramic views of the river Spree to see in Berlin’s spectacular New Year’s fireworks.

Fresh from completing an historic residency at Space Ibiza and bringing an end to the club’s 27 year legacy, the King Of Ibiza himself Carl Cox steps up for his third appearance for HYTE around the world.

After taking a break from the White Isle this summer, Minus boss Richie Hawtin has been far from slowing down, pushing boundaries further than ever before with his landmark new DJ mixer PLAYdifferently and ever-evolving Sake empire amongst numerous other projects, and the Berlin techno overlord makes a very special NYE appearance in his adopted hometown.

HYTE residents Loco Dice and Chris Liebing have been setting a new precedent this summer on Amnesia’s dancefloors, bringing their two distinct and diverse sounds together for an incomparable fusion that has helped define the HYTE sound. Marking this special occasion Seth Troxler will be joining the Desolat head for a rare back-to-back.

Techno titan Dubifre brings his Live HYBRID show to Berlin for the first time. The breathtaking performance seamlessly weaves together elements of 2D and 3D animation with live audio and lighting, reinventing the concert experience.

After his debut HYTE Ibiza performance in 2015, Berlin’s hometown hero Fritz Kalkbrenner returns with own brand of warm electronic beats and vocal melodies to create a festival style atmosphere of anthemic dancefloor grooves with an irresistible feelgood factor. Another one of Germany’s biggest techno exports and fellow Berliner Monika Kruse also joins the bill.
